Happy Tuesday, friends! Can you believe less than a week to go until Christmas? I literally just put up our tree. Since we’re hosting this year, I want the house to feel somewhat festive but have no desire to unpack all the holiday boxes. The move was enough— so the tree is it.

As much as I’m a list person…. goals goals goals. They help me stay on track not just for life but my weight-loss journey. It’s important to set short-term goals that you can check on daily/monthly to hold yourself accountable. And always set yourself up for success by setting realistic, obtainable goals.

(I’m not saying to make them easy. They should be challenging but don’t make them unreasonable— ie. I’ll lose 30lbs in one month.)

    Hi girl!

    My goal is to eat better to hopefully lose a little weight and feel better about myself! More times than not I get home from work and am way too tired to cook anything, ordering in always seems like the easier option! I want to start the new year off with a goal of eating healthy home cooked meals, not to mention save some money that way too!

    My goal is to plan regular exercise in my day. I’m struggling finding the time between commuting, working, school, kids, and chores. And I have to find a new job next year – I need help!

    2017 Goals include getting back to OTF (I MISS that place), losing weight, eating clean(er), building muscle and being the best I can be! The past couple of months have been a struggle with 3 funerals, 2 weddings and the death of my 14 year old kitty. I am ready to get back on track!! Thanks for your blog, recipes and your honesty!

    I need to do better on *consistently* eating healthier. I’ll be good for a week, binge for a day, and then it takes me (way too much) time to get back to healthy. 2017 is my year to get this under control!

    Two goals for 2017! One that started last week (because why put it off and wait until New Years?) and one for when the weather gets warmer. Goal 1 is to start eating more plant based meals. Not cut out meat and byproducts completely, but just try to cook more meatless meals generally. My family and myself just do not get enough vegetables, and this will be the perfect way to try and incorporate more veggies into our diets. Maybe save the meat dishes for weekends only! Goal 2 has to do with mountain biking. I just started mountain biking this past summer and have met a wonderful group of women cyclists who are so unbelievably supportive and encouraging. I’d never thought I could be flying rebought the woods over logs and jumps! It is so fun and amazing exercise. My second goal is to become a more experienced rider this year and move up to more technical riding. Can’t wait!
