Cheesy Bacon Quiche

Christina
Enjoy a generous slice of this flavorful quiche filled with bacon and cheese. And the best part, it's done all in one pan!
Servings 8 slices

Ingredients

  • 7 large eggs
  • 4 egg whites
  • ¾ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices of Wright® Brand Bacon chopped
  • cup yellow onion diced
  • 1 large green pepper diced
  • 1 clove garlic diced
  • 2 Tablespoons grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F degrees.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg whites, milk, salt, and shredded cheese until combined. Set aside.
  • Over medium-high heat, heat a 10-inch skillet. Add the chopped bacon and let it render out for about 5 minutes until it's slightly browned. Add the onion, pepper and garlic until they are cooked down for another 3-5 minutes (like the picture above.) Pour the prepared egg mixture into the pan and stir together. Sprinkle the top with the parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until filling is set and the top is slightly browned. Allow the quiche to cool for 10 minutes for slicing. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
