Tender, juicy chicken fingers marinated in your favorite BBQ sauce. Baked, not fried and are still extra crispy! They are so simple!
Another day, another savory recipe.
Lately I’ve been getting creative with dinner around here. Everything from this, to this, oh and one of our favorites. But this trumps them all. This is truly such a simple dish and the whole family will love ’em. And you can eat them in many different ways – baked, chopped in salads, eat them for lunch, for dinner, and with all the extra BBQ sauce you can get your hands on.
Alright, now I’m hungry.
I make these chicken fingers all the time because they are on the healthier side and I can quickly heat them up before or after the gym. While at the store last week I stocked up on chicken and stocked the freezer. Looks like these will be on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No complaints here! These are so darn good.
Let’s talk about the most simple marinade EVER. We have some salt, pepper and BBQ sauce. Yep, that’s it. Grab your favorite BBQ, mine happens to be Sweet Baby Ray’s (who doesn’t love it?) but you can use whatever brand you prefer.
In order to get the chicken extra crispy you will bake them in a hot oven at 425F degrees. The timing of course depends on the size and thickness of the chicken fingers. Mine take around 15 minutes and you’ll flip the chicken half way through.
Cheers to a simple dinner that tastes outta this world!
