This slow cooker hot chocolate is ultra creamy, mega chocolate-y and made in a slow cooker— so easy that you can make it anytime! It's a recipe that will be on repeat during the colder months!

Ingredients

Units
  • 5 cups whole milk
  • 3 and 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • toppings: marshmallows, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, chocolate candies, etc.

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients into a large slow cooker. Here's the one— I own and love worth every single penny. Whisk the ingredients together to get the cocoa powder combined as best as you can.
  2. Cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours— whisking every hour to make sure the chocolate doesn't burn on the bottom.
  3. Serve warm with marshmallows or other favorite toppings. Store leftovers in the refrigerator and warm up on the stove or in the microwave.
