Ingredients

Units

Pizza Dough

  • 2/3 cup warm water
  • 2 and 1/4 teaspoons Fleischmann’s® RapidRise® Yeast (1 standard packet)
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 Tablespoons oil
  • 1 and 3/4 to 2 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup sweet onion, sliced
  • 1/3 cup zucchini, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough: Whisk the warm water, yeast, and granulated sugar together in a bowl. Cover and allow to rest for 5 minutes. All the oil, salt, and flour. Stir together until combined. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead, adding additional flour, if necessary, until smooth (about 5 minutes). Place the dough in bowl and allow to rise for 10 minutes.
  2. While the dough rests, start the veggies. Add the oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the veggies and cook for 8-10 minutes until soft. Set aside.
  3. Roll dough on a floured surface to 12-inch circle. Dust the pan or baking sheet with cornmeal.  Form a rim by pinching the edge of the dough.
  4. Spread the sauce onto the pizza, then add the cheese and vegetables. Bake at 475 degrees until golden brown.
